The Union Station is a Federal Building. With the security concerns in our society today, we have been forced to take some important steps to maintain the safety of the Tacoma Union Station, which is a historic facility.

• Everyone must provide proper identification to enter the building.
• Security may request purse inspection.
• Security may run a hand held metal detector over persons entering the building.
• Packages/gifts will no longer be allowed in the Rotunda. This includes wedding gifts.

These added security measures will help ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable event at the Tacoma Union Station.
